Nelson County residents
love where they live
...and we love to share the many natural and unique attractions of Central Virginia with others. Purchased in 2000, our camp adjacent to the owner's property was renovated and made available for just that purpose. Built in the late 1800’s and used as a home, then a fishing camp later, it's been sensitively restored to it's present condition keeping the 1940's Fish Camp uniqueness in tact. The original name was Parr's Camp.
Nestled on 80 acres of unspoiled natural forest, surrounded on the east and west by the George Washington National Forest, visitors enjoy abundant wildlife, wildflowers and birds abound.
There are nature trails, a privately stocked trout pond and complete seclusion. A short drive away are local attractions, both in and around Nelson County.
Please enjoy browsing through this site, and do not hesitate to contact us for details or reservations. We look forward to seeing you at Parrs Camp!
